Public Submits to Auto Review

Mr Steve Bracks has called for public submissions to the review of Australia’s automotive industry.

According to Mr Bracks public submissions will help to identify the challenges and opportunities facing the Australian automotive industry.

To coincide with this he announced the release of a discussion paper and a background paper on the automotive industry. These provide information necessary to identify issues for public debate and will be discussed in more detail in the next issue of Advanced Manufacturing Australia’s magazine due out in late April.    
 


Public submissions will close on 14 May 2008.

Bracks' final report to the Australian Government is due on 31 July 2008.
